Thrifty Thursday: Vintage Mint Dress
A few weeks ago I had the good fortune to find this little gem hiding on the dress rack at Goodwill. The color first caught my eye- I’m a sucker for a nice mint ensemble. I’m also a sucker for pleating, and when I realized it was vintage AND machine washable, I knew I had to rescue it from the sad Forever21 sandwich it was forced to be a part of.
Brand: Bleeker Street (a division of Jonathan Logan, Inc.) … that’s quite a mouthful
Vintage: After some Googling, I’ve determined it is likely from the 1960’s due to the style and the fact that most of the items I could find from this brand seem to be from that decade.
Time: None… just washed it! The pleating held up perfectly.
Accessories: a costume necklace I’ve had for many years (probably H&M?), and the shoes I recently bought for my photo shoot.
