Thrifty Thursday: High-waisted Trousers

Thrifty Thursday, in the house! Today I’m rocking some of my very favorite power pants in the form of high-waisted trousers. I am now, and always have been, completely obsessed with the high-waisted look. Do I care that they make my middle look like the broad side of a barn? I do not. They make me feel tall and fashion forward even if in reality I look like a giant, walking abdomen. If you’ve got it, flaunt it- right?

Paired with the tummy trousers is this vibrant HAND-MADE silky blouse. Growing up, my mom hand-made all of my Halloween costumes and Easter dresses and to this day, I get a special thrill when I find something handmade with love years ago.
