Family: 2018 Christmas Card
Merry Christmas and happy 2019 from the McCarty family! Because of the 12 days of Craftsmas, time was a bit limited this year- but I really like how these turned out even if they’re a little bit less entailed than normal. :)
I bought paper and envelopes at Hobby Lobby, ordered a family print from Mpix, put together the holly card using striped rolled paper and a felt garland (also Hobby Lobby), and stuck our annual family letter to the back. Voila! I think the marble vellum envelopes really took these to the next level. Everything I got at Hobby Lobby was at least 40% off- in total these cost me <$2 each including postage.
This year’s post is notably calmer than last year’s- take a look at my very FIRST blog post lamenting the thorn in my side that were our 2017 family Christmas cards.
WHAT??? YOU CAN BUY ADORABLE CHRISTMAS CARDS FOR $1 ONLINE IN APPROXIMATELY 12 MINUTES FROM NO LESS THAN 15 DIFFERENT WEBSITES? Yeah, I know. There’s no good reason for me to hand make these puppies other than it makes my soul come alive.
