Hi.

Thanks for stopping by! I'm happy you're here.

Thifty: Knit Tank & Bomber Jacket

Thifty: Knit Tank & Bomber Jacket

For reasons unknown to me, I am really loving sweater tanks this summer. I even decided I would knit myself a sweater tank, which was a disaster and is a post for another day.

As clothing genres go, sweater tanks are completely impractical. They have the benefits of neither a tank (keeping you cool) or a sweater (keeping you warm). I can't decide if I'm hot or cold because my arm hair is standing on end, but my torso is sweating. This has done nothing to diminish my heart eyes for sweater tanks.

This particular tank was made by a brand called "IN STYLE", a fact I know only because at the early hour of 1:45 PM today I realized it is on backward. Cool.

Now when I spill on myself I can just flip it around!

Because I'm traveling for work today, airports are notorious for being cold, and I can't regulate my own body temperature due to the aforementioned shortcomings of my tank, I threw on my tan bomber jacket that also came from Goodwill. I have found that it goes with almost anything and for the $8 it cost me, has already paid for itself many times over. It's from Ann Taylor and I'd guess originally cost someone $150.

Jeans are Ann Taylor Loft and booties are Joe's from Marshall's a few years ago.

Also, can we please give a slow clap to my photographer/BWFF (best work friend forever) Berly? You can find her behind my iPhone camera calmly providing tips while I scream "WHAT DO I DO WITH MY HANDS?!"  Without her, when told to strike a pose, this is what my body does:

Cheers to sweater tanks, work trips, and jobs that let you wear jeans!

Toodles! TLO
